Hear Our Story Project: The Swamp Rabbit Legacy Project

The benches along Greenville’s Swamp Rabbit Trail have served as quiet places of rest and remembrance. But a name and a date on a plaque can only say so much. Podcast Studio X sought to answer the question: Who were these people, and what did they love?

In partnership with Greenville County Parks & Rec, we developed a concept to attach durable QR codes to these memorial benches. When scanned by a passerby, the code launches a beautifully produced, 5-to-10-minute audio documentary - a "mini-podcast" - about the person honored on that specific bench.

The Production: Cinematic Audio Storytelling This is not a simple voice memo. Utilizing Podcast Studio X’s expertise in remote and on-site production, we craft these tributes using:

• Intimate Interviews: We facilitate conversations with family members, daughters, husbands, and best friends to capture the essence of the departed.

• Sound Design: We weave in favorite songs, environmental ambience, and thematic music to create an emotional, cinematic experience.

• Professional Editing: We edit the narrative to tell a cohesive, uplifting, and poignant story.
