The Hear My Story Project

Ditching the plaque for a richer story-telling interaction. We developed a concept to attach durable QR codes to tell a deeper story through high-fidelity audio production. We launched this program on custom made benches on Greenville County’s (SC) Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail Network. These locally crafted benches already tell a story to the eye but when the QR code is scanned users get to hear a beautifully produced audio documentary – a “mini-podcast” about the inspiration and story behind that specific bench.

The Production: Cinematic Audio Storytelling This is not a simple voice memo. Utilizing Podcast Studio X’s expertise in remote and on-site production, we craft these tributes using:

• Intimate Interviews: We facilitate conversations with all involved with the story behind the bench.

• Sound Design: We weave in favorite songs, environmental ambience, and thematic music to create an emotional, cinematic experience.

• Professional Editing: We edit the narrative to tell a cohesive, uplifting, and poignant story.

While this idea hopped on the scene at the Swamp Rabbit Trail and started with locally crafted benches, we can work with anyone to develop these narratives wherever you think people would enjoy the chance to “Hear My Story”

How it works:

1. The Session: We schedule a recording session (remote) with you and family members to share stories.

2. The Production: Our team edits, mixes, and masters the audio into a beautiful tribute.

3. The Connection: We provide you with the permanent hosting link and the QR code file to place on your memorial.
